User 22:35

i am working 10 hours per day and sometimes more than that they promised me overtime compensation but the process for applying to it is very long and it had to pass to 4 managers and at the end they don't compensate us

PoBot 22:35

Thank you for sharing that. It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating situation regarding overtime compensation. To help me understand the specifics, could you tell me more about how long the approval process takes and what the typical requirements are?

PoBot 22:40

Thank you for letting me know. Knowing that Adidas is a potential client is helpful. Do you have any other clients your factory supplies to that you can share? This will help me gather a more complete picture.

Thank you for providing your employment contract. This is very helpful. To ensure I can assist you effectively, could you please review Article III regarding working hours and overtime compensation? Specifically, it states overtime compensation is "in accordance with Taiwanese labor law." Could you elaborate on what specific details of that law are relevant to your situation? This will help me understand the specifics of your claim.

"Could you please provide a copy of your employment contract with Summitex Enterprise Co., Ltd.? This will help me understand the terms related to working hours, overtime compensation, and benefits."

User 22:48

I am not of the law po, but this is my payslip of last month i only recieved the salary mentioned in the contract: \n\n Summitex Enterprise Co., Ltd No. 123, Tech Park Road, Taichung City, Taiwan Salary Receipt Employee: Juan Dela Cruz Month: August 2024 Amount Received: NTD 26,400 Received in full on August 31, 2024. and this is an email from one of my manager dismissing my request:\n\n Juan, Yes, I saw your request and the Google Form you submitted. I’ve been busy and haven’t had time to deal with every small issue that comes up. You need to be patient. Just because you filled out a form doesn’t mean things happen instantly. I’ll check it when I have time, but you don't need to keep messaging me about it. We’re handling a lot of things right now, so stop rushing the process. — Lin Wei-Chen Factory Manager Summitex Enterprise Co., Ltd.

Thank you for that additional context. The manager's response indicates a lack of timely attention to your overtime request.

To help me understand the situation better, could you please clarify if the manager's response was a formal rejection or simply a dismissal of your request?

Also, do you have any documentation regarding the overtime request itself, such as a form or email where you submitted the request?
